Well, that was quite a ride.

It’s understandable that after the success of Friday The 13th in 1980 that there would be a glut of movies in its wake. Most of them were bad. Some were good (As I’ve noted many a time, Friday The 13th Part II is better than its predecessor) and some of them were Don’t Go Into The Woods.

So, hey.

For some reason I thought there was a post talking about what happened with last year’s ‘31 Nights of Frights‘ as well as one or two things I had posted since then. Either I’m losing it or it was a very banal dream I was having.

Neverthless, we’re back on this year and barring any problems like last year we’ll make it all the way through. Life and such things have a habit of getting in the way. But it’s only 31 days, so together I’m sure we can make it.

It’s Octoooooooooooobeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr

See how excited I am? It’s October, and that means that it’s 31 Nights of Frights. 31 Nights of terror, mayhem, nudity, blood, violence, scares, ghosts, ghouls (I just like to say that word) and pumpkins.

So starting tonight join me as I pick 31 films (as well as some other odds and ends) and count down to the greatest commercialised made-up-holiday of the year.

Announcing: 31 Nights of Frights

It’s been a staple for many of my failed blogs that I do a Horror film a day in the run up to Halloween. This year is going to be no different. We’ll have some films, some horror themed television and yes, even some horror themed music (I knew that CD of ‘Tales From the Crypt’ Christmas songs would come in handy again). And at some point I’ll even finish up my review of the excellent ‘Columbine’ book I keep telling everyone about.

Tell your friends and watch this space! We’re going to have a good month.
